Commercial Co-Founder, Growth & Business Development
Careers
Help turn PADEMIQ's product, AI and training capability into a repeatable pipeline of clients, partnerships and revenue.
Role brief
A commercial build role, not a traditional job post.
This is for someone who wants to help shape and grow an early-stage consultancy and training business from the commercial side.
PADEMIQ helps founders, SMEs and product teams turn ideas into useful products, adopt AI practically, improve delivery and build internal capability through workshops and training.

What you would own
The market-facing growth engine.
- Identify and qualify target clients across founders, SMEs, product teams and organisations.
- Build relationships with startup communities, agencies, accelerators and training partners.
- Generate, manage and follow up on a repeatable sales pipeline.
- Lead early sales conversations and help shape proposals, packages and partnerships.
- Feed real market insight back into PADEMIQ's offers, messaging and positioning.
Who this suits
Someone commercially confident who wants to build.
- Business development, B2B sales, partnerships, consulting sales or professional services.
- Comfort with cold and warm outreach, discovery calls and steady follow-up.
- Enough interest in product, AI and technology to sell the work responsibly.
- Good judgement in an early-stage environment where the sales motion is still being built.
- A UK or US network, startup ecosystem access, or experience selling workshops and training.
Structure
Start with a working period.
The preferred approach is a 6 to 12 week trial working relationship first. During that period, we assess execution, consistency, commercial ability, working relationship, judgement and shared ambition.
If there is a strong mutual fit, we can then discuss a formal co-founder structure, equity, vesting and responsibilities. Any equity arrangement should be subject to proper legal documentation and vesting.
